The Koas are one-bedroom/two-bath units on the end of the hotel facing the ocean. The hotel is perpendicular to the ocean, so anything above the 12th floor is ideal for ocean views. The Koa has a sofa bed, which I found quite comfortable. It also has a full kitchen with a stove/dishwasher unit and an oven above it. It also has a refrigerator, but it fits under the kitchen counter. It's still large enough for quite a few groceries. Above the refrigerator is a microwave. There is plenty of glasses, flatware, dishes, pots and pans. The bedroom comes with it's own bathroom. The other bathroom (behind the kitchen) had a shower/soaking tub combination. There was a wall mounted tv with dvd player in the livingroom. We take the bus and go to SAM's club to stock up on snacks, wine, eggs and the like, and enjoy breakfast at home... lunch and dinner out.
The owners lounge and spa are more nice features of this timeshare. The lounge is on the 26th floor. It is very large and has two computers in it -- connected to DSL and available to use for free. There is also a big screen TV with DVD/VHS players and a roomy couch. There are two bathrooms in the lounge, complete with showers. If you have a late flight out, like I did, they offered a key to the owners' lounge and spa for the day, plus luggage check-in. There are also plenty of tables and chairs looking out over the ocean through wall to wall windows. If you go to the orientation breakfast, this is where it will be. The owners spa is on the third floor, complete with a co-ed workout and jacuzzi area and even a separate workout and jacuzzi area just for women. If you aren't an owner or guest of an owner, there is a pool and jacuzzi on the roof, which we also enjoyed several times. For a timeshare in the middle of Waikiki, this one is really nice. Its location is only a block from the beach and about two blocks from the main bus routes. Therefore, it's convenient to get to just about anywhere in Waikiki.
We have bumped into Adam Sandler and Rob Schnider at nearby beaches

This is sure to be your one stop destination to find that special gift or souvenir for everyone on your list.
Don't miss The International Market Place which has been an island tradition for years upon years. With over 130 carts, shops and artisan stands, this open-air setting in the heart of Waikiki remains a must-see-and-do for that special gift or souvenir. Take time to talk story with the local craftspeople, and snap a photo by a cascading waterfall under a century-old banyan, original home of Donn the Beachcomber. Open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. 2330 Kalakaua Ave., next to Waikiki Town Center.
There are too many places to eat, but we really enjoy evening meals at the CheeseCake Factory. This is a don't miss outside dining experience.

Here's how I run this rental.
You contact me with your requirements. I check availability on line and give you an instant answer about availability. You commit to the rental, and I call and put it on a 24 hour hold in your name (I'll need a scan of the Photo ID you will use upon arrival). You then contact the front desk, and verify that the reservation has been made. Then you have 24 hours to wire transfer the funds to my account. (I know Craigslist warns against wire transfer, but I don't want to get stiffed either) You can ask my bank about me.... I've had an account for over 23 years. Upon receipt of funds I will make the reservation final, and it's in your name under my account. You are responsible upon arrival for charges to the room, and or damages on your credit card. The front desk will require Photo ID and a credit card upon check-in. Have a great time at Waikiki Beach.
Please realize that you are staying in an accomodation that is NOT available to the general public. There are maintenance fees paid each year for maintaining the condition of these units in good condition. You won't be dissappointed! Please treat the property with respect.
